When Electing a President – Does Character Matter?
This morning, Ted Cruz is in Indiana and just finished answering a lot of questions from the press. There was a sense of urgency with his answers. For the first time, I saw Cruz really trying to emotionally connect with people who are like minded on a few key topics.
Knowing Ted…as I do, I could hear his passionate plea for voters to consider the following.
Generally speaking and/or summarizing his comments:
* Do you want a President, Republican or Democrat… who would embarrass you? If your children repeated or uttered a word they’d heard from one of these candidates for President…you’d be punishing them.
* We are not a country made up of angry people or one who’s leaders are bullies.
Is character an issue for you? Does it matter whether or not your next President is a person of moral standing? If so, of the top three candidates from either party….who is it?
